Re: Sig
Mon, May 16, 2005 - 8:30 AMI was ziggy. My favorite part? I have to choose? Sorry, can't do it. I loved the people, the sing a long, the puppets, Sig, getting kicked out of the Mormon Temple...
I loved the love, man...*sniff sniff* -

Re: Sig
Mon, May 16, 2005 - 9:52 AMi think the mormon temple was an excellent idea .... however, to be honest, while crashing it was fun, the people screaming mean things about Jesus as we all scurried for the bus was a little offensive. i mean, talk about sex, sure, but lay off the knocking of gods in houses of worship.
you can go to hell for that.

Re: Sig
Mon, May 16, 2005 - 10:35 AMWhile I am not afraid of Hell, and have very little love for the Mormons, I think the screaming might have been a little much. We should have gotten kicked out and went peacefully like good little doomed souls. -

Re: Sig
Mon, May 16, 2005 - 11:21 AMi'm not into mormons or jesus either (you gotta admit, though - they build kickass houses of worship), but i'm really just not into defaming anyone's gods in their private places of worship. i think we should have fun, but also have respect.
that said, the whole gig was awesome, and i was pleasantly surprised to see so many people there that i knew. -

Re: Sig
Mon, May 16, 2005 - 11:28 AMi agree with miss leblanc's every sentence, regarding both mormons and the all-round awesomeness, and must add that i was very pleezed to have her in attendance. -

Re: Sig
Mon, May 16, 2005 - 11:31 AMThe bus was so full of love. Everytone seemed to rock, at one point and another.

Re: Sig
Mon, May 16, 2005 - 11:45 AMnow, ORANGE, i was pleased to have you too, and i'm all aboot going again!!!
some of my friends who went a while back said they were a bit disappointed in the "fancy bus", as the last time they went it was a POS with a mexican band in the back or something and much rowdier.
i, however, thought the whole deal was fantastic. we have some excellent photos; i'll try to post them soon. -

Re: Sig
Tue, May 17, 2005 - 10:30 AMThe first time I took the bus, I was surprised at how nice it was, too... I was full-on expecting a renovated school bus (a short bus for preference)... or something painted zany colors like the 'Electric Mayhem's bus from the Muppet Show...
I heard we broke the fender on the chartered bus this last trip! Sig or Hernan, was there any more word on that? I'll be willing to testify that it was aliens... Insurance has GOT to cover aliens, or what good is it.
I can't wait to see the peekchures! -

Re: Sig
Tue, May 17, 2005 - 10:34 AMIt was obviously the Mormon security guards who done broke our bus.
I say SUE. -

Re: Sig
Tue, May 17, 2005 - 11:56 AMOh, now that you mention it, you're right! I totally remember that now! They all had axes and baseball bats and were beating the back fender screaming their fury against slam poetry. I dunno why I didn't remember that before.
We should totally sue. Or get drunk and pass out in their fountain. One or the two.

Re: Sig
Tue, May 17, 2005 - 12:56 PMwas it just me or was the bus driver not very good at driving?
i think i did see the front fender ripped off, and when he was trying to get out of Chabot, the back wheels were OFF THE GROUND and spinning on the pavement. i have proof. -

Re: Sig
Tue, May 17, 2005 - 1:16 PMI dunno why he would've driven poorly. That moonshine I gave him only knocks out your vision for ten... maybe fifteen minutes tops.
